I Kings 10:27

I Kings 10:27 And the king made silver to be in Jerusalem as stones, and cedars made he to be as the sycomore trees that are in the vale, for abundance. Solomon was blessed of God. And God blessed his people Israel too. Solomon was so rich that silver became as common as rocks in Jerusalem and costly cedar wood was as common as ordinary sycamore trees! God blessed Solomon because he put God first in his kingdom. Is God first in your life? Trust Him and love Him! He will bless you, just like He blessed Solomon!

I Kings 10:1,6,7

I Kings 10:1,6,7 And when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon concerning the name of the LORD, she came to prove him with hard questions. And she said to the king, It was a true report that I heard in mine own land of thy acts and of thy wisdom. Howbeit I believed not the words, until I came, and mine eyes had seen it: and, behold, the half was not told me: thy wisdom and prosperity exceedeth the fame which I heard. God blessed Solomon and his fame spread throughout the world. The Queen of Sheba couldn’t believe what she had heard, so she had to see it for herself. She came up to visit Solomon with chests full of gold and jewels to wow him. But when she saw his beautiful palace and the beautiful Temple she was herself wowed! Solomon’s army was powerful and his nave in Phoenicia was spectacular. His stables with horses and war chariots were awesome. Solomon’s servants were attentive and even happy to be of service! After the Queen had seen everything, she said, “I heard rumors of your kingdom, and to tell the truth, it is even better than what I had heard!” God had truly blessed Solomon and his people Israel!

I Kings 8:22,23

I Kings 8:22,23 And Solomon stood before the altar of the LORD in the presence of all the congregation of Israel, and spread forth his hands toward heaven: And he said, LORD God of Israel, there is no God like thee, in heaven above, or on earth beneath, who keepest covenant and mercy with thy servants that walk before thee with all their heart: When Solomon dedicated the Temple in Jerusalem, he wisely bragged on God. Solomon had done all of the work, but God had given him the wisdom and the ability and peace in the land so that Solomon could build the House to God. Solomon was wise. He knew Who was behind everything that he did. So how about us? Are we smart enough to realize how much God does for us? Do we realize that God gives us wisdom and strength? “Ain’t God good? to give us so many blessings?” Can you remember that song? Why not sing it?!
