Matthew 24:37-40

Matthew 24:37-40 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. When Jesus Christ came to earth over two thousand years ago, very few people were ready for His coming. When King Jesus comes back the second time soon, very few people will again be ready for His coming. And Jesus likens His second coming to the way the flood came upon the earth in the days of Noah. Noah was working and preaching, but very few people believed that what he said was going to happen. That is until, it began to rain. Then many believed – but it was too late. God had already shut the door to the ark. And when Jesus comes back to the earth the second time, He will call all of His believers up to meet Him in the air. And again, it will be too late for the unbelievers who will be left behind to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Those who believe will be taken up suddenly. Those who do not believe will be left behind. Will you be ready for that day? I hope so!
