In my truck, the windshield is huge in comparison to the rear-view mirror. Why is that? Well, it’s because I should spend most of my time looking at where I am going instead of where I’ve been. Oh, it’s necessary to look back occasionally, but most of my time should be spent looking forward to where I am going. Hey, there’s a life lesson here. Don’t dwell on the past; look forward to the future. Paul said in Philippians 3:13&14, “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Our future is as bright as the sunrise of tomorrow. Don’t look in that rear-view mirror to the past. Look through the windshield and into the future, and keep driving forward!
