When God dictated the Bible to the men that He used, He used great words. Paul said in II Timothy 3:16&17, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.” God used similes, metaphors, and analogies to help us understand spiritual truth. At salvation we become saints, citizens, pilgrims, ambassadors, witnesses, heirs, overcomers, soldiers, wrestlers … and the list goes on and on. So, today, you will face many difficulties. And when you do, remember that the dear Lord has given you the strength to be an overcomer. He has given you the skill to be a wrestler. You are not a citizen of this world; you are a citizen of heaven. Hey, review the above list, because today, you will need to be one of them … in the power of God.
