Ephesians 5:16

Ephesians 5:16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. As a boy, I wasted a lot of time. I used to daydream. I would pretend that I was a reckless pirate. Or sometimes I would dream that I was a fearless explorer. But I wasn’t a pirate; I wasn’t an explorer; I was just a boy wasting time. If I had used my time to study ancient books and maps, I could have actually found some of Blackbeard’s buried treasure. Now that would have been a better use of my time. So it is with Christians. We should study our Bible and memorize verses and prepare for our battles with Satan. We should not be idle and waste our time; we should redeem our time. We should use our time for the Lord Jesus Christ!
