Matthew 5:5

 

Matthew 5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. I once heard a preacher say that meek does not mean weak. That is so true. A meek person is someone who has their temper under control. One person in the Bible who was called meek was Moses. But Moses wasn’t a wimp. He led the children of Israel from Egypt, all through the wilderness for forty years and right up to the Promised Land. And the Children of Israel numbered into the millions. But he led them all of the way. Moses was a powerful leader, but still he had a meek and quiet spirit about him. The man Moses is a good example for us to follow.
