Mia or "me a"

Tonight, my heart almost stopped.  Let me explain.  We have a dear couple at our church who just announced that they were expecting.  Mia and Nick work with our teens at Calvary.  So, my wife was online tonight and remarked, “I want to get Mia a maternity dress.”  But what I heard my wife say was “I want to get me a maternity dress.”  Now you understand why my heart almost stopped.
