Same Facts, Different Interpretation

I promised myself that I would not get involved in, nor say anything about politics in my posts.  And I am not.  Well, just a little.  I can’t believe how the two sides of this impeachment thing are acting.  If you watch CNN or Fox News, it’s hard to believe that they are talking about the same case.  Democrats say that what President Trump did is terrible, but the Republicans say that there is nothing wrong.  Then the Republicans say that the Democrats are destroying our Republic while the Democrats say that the Republicans are denying that the constitution is being trampled upon.  Wait, are they looking at the same thing?!  Are they both hearing the same facts?!  Hey, it’s the same way with the reality of God.  Some people look at our complex world and say, “There must be a Creator.”  Other people look at our complex world and say, “Everything is related.  They all must have evolved from the same once-celled organism.”  The apostle Paul said in Romans 1:20-22, “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.”  How can Evolutionists look at a complex world and say, “There is no God”?  How can Evolutionists deny the existence of a divine Creator when the evidence is all around?  It is because they do not WANT to believe in God.  We believe what we want to believe, and it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.  Hey, just like politicians looking at the facts of the impeachment, we believe what we want to believe.  Take a deep breath, step back, and evaluate your life from a fresh perspective.  What if there really is a God?  What is going to happen when I die?  A new look may give you new answers.  Think about it.
