Israel was suddenly attacked last Saturday with thousands of
rockets from the Gaza strip.
Simultaneously, Hamas broke through barriers slaughtering hundreds of
Israelis and taking many others hostage.
“Where was God?” some would ask.
The late Adrian Rogers said, “Has It ever occurred to you that nothing
ever occurred to God?” God was right
where He has always been. An angel
didn’t rush into God’s throne room with the breaking news of the attack on
Israel (like an aid did with President Biden).
None of this caught God off guard!
God is using the events unfolding before us to bring Israel back to
Himself, to set the world stage for His glorious return, and to wake up His
lethargic followers. The dear Lord must
remind us periodically that He is still in control! God said in Psalms 46:10, “Be still, and know
that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the
earth.”
