It Won't Rain Always

I miss Kathy this morning.  I’m not going to lie to you, some days in my life are easier than others.  I’m so fortunate to have friends to walk beside me and sweet Marleen to talk me down from the ledge.  In my old ’97 Buick I have a cassette deck.  That’s right, a cassette tape player.  Some of you have never played a cassette tape before.  Text me and we’ll go for a ride in a 29-year-old car and listen to a 27-year-old cassette tape.  If you need to ask for my phone number, this isn’t for you.  So, I played a song by Cynthia Clawson that Kathy and I used to hold onto.  “It Won’t Rain Always” blessed my soul once again.  Hey, how would you know that you were having a good day if you didn’t have bad days?!  And never forget, that God uses your bad days to teach and instruct you.  God leads us through valleys to toughen us up for the difficult times ahead.  And believe you me, I have had my share of tough times.  But the kind Shepherd of my soul has been with me each step of the way, holding my hand and gently leading.  Hey, take a moment and shut down your computer, get out your Bible, and read Psalm 23.  It’ll only take 50 seconds.  Really,  But it will be the best 50 seconds of your day.  And ,,, here’s the link for my pickerupper song … no extra charge.  You’re welcome!
