Revelation 8:6

Revelation 8:6 And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound. As if the seven seals were not enough, the angels sounded seven trumpets that were seven new judgements. God will try to get the attention of the unbelieving people left on earth after God’s people are snatched away when Jesus comes back in the clouds. God will give people time to repent, but they will not. God knows that they will not repent, but He will give them several chances anyway. God is longsuffering and wants everyone to come to repentance … even though God knows that they will not repent. How sad!

Revelation 6:1

Revelation 6:1 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. The number seven is the symbolic number of perfection in the Bible. So in Revelation, there are seven seals that are opened in chapters 6 thru 8. A seal is like a sticker that is put over the flap of an envelope to seal the letter. As each seal is opened, terrible things will happen to the unbelieving people of earth. But God does not want His people to be caught off guard in the coming days. God wants us to be informed. The book of Revelation uses many symbolic words like the sevens and the seals, but all of this is pretty easy to understand - if we ask the Holy Spirit to guide us. And if we ask, He will!

Revelation 5:11-13

Revelation 5:11-13 And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing. And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. There is always a lot of activity around the throne of God Almighty. Not only are there millions of angels praising God, but there are those saints of God who have passed on praising God. Hey, that will be us as well! The angels will be praising God because that is what they do. But we will be praising God because, even though we don’t deserve to be there, we will be there in heaven! Praise to Jesus Christ for His wonderful sacrifice on Calvary! We will be there because of Jesus. And isn’t that worth praising Him for?! Praise the Lord!
