You can tell a lot about a person at a four-way stop. Theoretically, the first one to the
intersection has the right of way.
Theoretically. But usually, the
kinder person lets the other person go first.
And the bigger SUV’s go before the little Hyundai. Big Tahoe’s are usually snooty. Cautious folk with a nice car will let me go
first because I have nothing to lose in my old ’96 GMC pick-up. Hey, how do you treat your fellow man in
life? Are you kind? Do you let others go first? Paul said in Philippians 2:3, “Let nothing be
done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem
other better than themselves.” I know,
someone has to go first at the four-way stop.
But does it always have to be you?
Think about it.
