One of my grandsons was over at our house this past weekend, and he was a walking encyclopedia on football. He knew all the players, their stats, and their prospects for this fall. And he is only nine years old! He is what you call a fanatic - a fan. A fan eats, sleeps, and breathes football stats, rosters, and schedules. It consumes him. Hey, when the apostle Paul tells us in I Thessalonians 5:17 to “Pray without ceasing.” that is how we should pray. Oh, we have to work a job to put food on the table, but we should eat, sleep and breathe prayer. Just like my grandson is with football, God expects me to be with prayer. After all, prayer is my lifeline to God. Hey, get connected with God: pray without ceasing.
