I had some tiny wood chips stuck in my cell phone charger plug-in, so I blew it out with my air nozzle. And when I did, I accidentally blew out the microphone. Really. Bummer. So, I was at T-Mobile getting a new phone when an old, old lady came in She was grumbling about everyone from Walmart employees to President Biden. She said she couldn’t connect with her son who was stranded in Afghanistan. As the T-Mobile manager tried to talk to her, she produced a receipt two feet long with Green Dot money card codes that she had bought at Walmart. The manager cautioned her about scams, but she wouldn’t listen to him. She was on a mission, and nothing would do. She was convinced that her son was marooned overseas and needed her help to get back home. Hey, did you know that we all have been fooled just like that old lady? Satan lies to us daily. He feeds us lies and makes us think that what we are thinking are our thoughts. Paul said in II Corinthians 4:3&4, “But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” Like the lady in T-Mobile, Satan deceives folk and blinds their hearts and minds. And the only antidote is the glorious light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Hey, let your light shine before the world, and glorify Jesus Christ!
