Blessed

God has blessed us in America so much that often we take things for granted.  A dear friend came to America from Romania to live with us and to go to college here in Chattanooga.  Our first trip to the grocery store was eye-opening for her … and for us.  Corina laughed at the egg cooler with medium, large, and jumbo eggs.  She said, “In Romania, you just buy eggs.  If you get large eggs, you are just fortunate.”  And when we were in Cameroon, Africa a few years ago, Brother Ben bought a dozen of eggs, and we got the eggs in our hands!  Brother Ben pulled out a plastic bag and gently put the dozen eggs loosely into the bag.  We even take egg cartons for granted!  I am so glad that God is a good, good God!  He loves us so much and gives to us from His bountiful goodness!  I Chronicles 16:34, “O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.”  Hey, give thanks to the good Lord today!  Why not do it right now?!
