Laughing at your mistakes can lengthen your life. Laughing at your wife’s mistakes can shorten it. If you are laughing at this little quip, chances are you are a husband. If you think that this is not funny, chances are you are a wife. Hey, it’s all in your point of view. And did you know that mankind looks at sin one way and God looks at sin another? While we enjoy our sin (for the time being), we hate what sin does to us. But we are hopeless; we can’t help ourselves. We try to do better only to fail again and again. And the One who could do anything about our sin absolutely loathes sin. But while God hates sin, God loves sinners. And this is the perfect combination! We need help and God is willing and able to help. Paul said in Romans 5:68, “For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” I am so glad that God loved me and paid the price for my redemption! So, what about you?
