This is a blog that I have created for my 5 grandchildren. I have a daily Scripture verse or two along with comments and questions. Hope this encourages young people to read in their Bible every day and to meditate on God's Word.

Read Psalms 27:14 Sometimes it is very hard to wait. Didn't it seem like it took forever for Christmas to come? Sometimes when we have to wait a long time we begin to think. We wonder if we should be doing something different or if we are waiting in the wrong place. Your mother may tell you to go get into the van and buckle up and she'll be there in a minute. But after you are in the van and all buckled up, you wait, and wait, and wait . . . Then you begin to wonder where she is. Is she all right? Are you sure she told you to get into the van just now? Could she be inside the house looking for you? David says in this verse not to be discouraged, but to be of good courage. When you read in the Bible that God wants you to do something, you can do it and then know that you have done the right thing. Then you can wait for everything to turn out just right because you have obeyed what God has said to do. You can know in your heart that you are doing the right thing because God said it in his Word. You can trust what God has said and feel good that you obeyed God's Words!
