I John 2:3,4

I John 2:3,4 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. These are pretty strong words! If we say that we love God, but don’t keep His commandments, what does John say that we are? We are liars. Our verse is really pretty simple. Let’s see if you can remember it and finish this sentence: If we love God we will _______ That’s right, we will keep His commandments. But if we say that we love God and we don’t keep His commandments, we are a _____ That’s right again, we are a liar. Here it is one last time: If we love God, we will keep His commandments. If we don’t keep His commandments, we don’t love God.
