Ephesians 4:1-3

Ephesians 4:1-3 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Paul willingly let Jesus Christ be his master just like a slave has a master. And Paul was humble about it. He wanted Jesus Christ to get all of the glory for anything that he was able to accomplish in his lifetime. And Paul was reminding the church in Ephesus to remember the calling that Jesus had for them. And we need to remember to be a good Christian testimony for Jesus Christ today. And Paul goes on to say that we should work at unity. That is what the word endeavor means. We have to work at getting along with other Christians. it isn’t easy – it is real work. It is easy to talk about one another and to complain. But we have to work at getting along with each other. We should work at keeping unity and keeping a spirit of peace and love.
