Ephesians 4:22-24

Ephesians 4:22-24 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. The Bible tells us that when we become Christians, we are a new creature. Old things are passed away and all are become new. On Wednesday, you are playing outside and your mother calls, “Come in. It’s time to get ready for church.” You come in and take off your old dirty play clothes and put on nice clean church clothes. And that’s what our verse is talking about. We should put off the old things that we used to do before we were saved. And then we should put on the right things that we should be doing as a Christian. Just like our dirty clothes and clean church clothes, we should put off the old and put on the new. And in our spiritual life, we should put off the old and put on the new.
