Revelation 4:10,11

Revelation 4:10,11 The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. When anyone comes before the throne of Almighty God, they fall down and worship. So who are these twenty-four elders? I think that they are the twelve apostles in the New Testament and twelve prophets and kings in the Old Testament. But whoever they are, they fall down and worship God. The only thing of value that these elders have are their crowns that were given to them by God for their faithful service. And in gratitude to God, they cast their crowns down at the feet of the Lord, for He alone is worthy of their praise. After all, God made us to praise Him. We are God’s play-things that He enjoys. How good to be able to give God a smile!

Revelation 2:7

Revelation 2:7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God. Jesus spoke to John and told each of the seven churches to listen carefully to the blessed Holy Spirit. Some of the churches were faithful and received praise from Jesus. But some of the churches had problems and were reprimanded by Jesus. But to each of the seven churches, Jesus Christ reminded them that if they had ears to hear, they had better listen to the blessed Holy Spirit. Jesus promised to give us, as believers, eternal life. We are promised a home in heaven forever and forever. And Jesus has the power and authority to do it! And He will!

Revelation 1:17,18

Revelation 1:17,18 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. When the apostle John saw Jesus Christ in all of His glory, he fell down as a dead man. But Jesus had an important job for John to do, so Jesus put His right hand upon John and reassured him that everything was going to be OK. Jesus told John not to be afraid, for Jesus was in control. Often we have problems in our lives and Jesus must reassure us too. Remember, Jesus is with you and everything will be OK. Don’t fear; trust Jesus. Jesus was alive and then dead, but Jesus is alive forever more! He is alive and in charge! Praise Jesus!
