Although my children are older now, I still remember them
running downstairs when the thunderstorms came late at night. It just seemed safer in dad’s bedroom. I miss those days. Whenever scary times come, it’s good to have
someone stronger nearby. Hey, that’s how
we are with God. Difficult times are not
that bad with our heavenly Father nearby.
And remember, He IS nearby. David
said in Psalm 27:1, “The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?
the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” It’s good to know that when the storms of
life come our way, we can trust in our heavenly Father, who is always near.
