Flying Turtle

 

There was a turtle who wanted to go south for the winter like his geese friends.  But it would take him far too long to walk there. So, he had two of his geese friends put a branch into their beaks while he held on with his powerful bite.  With the turtle hanging onto the middle, off to Florida they went.  A man saw the turtle hanging between two high-flying geese headed south and exclaimed, “How clever!  I wonder whose idea that was?”  The turtle proudly said, “It was my…”  David said in Psalm 138:6, “Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.”
