There is a difference in being childish and childlike. A big difference. Childish is bad, but childlike is good. As a matter of fact, Jesus Himself said in Luke 18:17, “…Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.” Childlike faith is necessary to get into heaven. But Childish is immature, peevish and petulant. I have known many adults who were childish. But I pray that I will be childlike in my faith toward God. Hey, what about you? Do you come to your heavenly Father in childlike faith calling Him, “Abba Father”? Or do you storm to your room in a tantrum acting childish? Think about it.
