Tuesday, I watched with interest the speech of President Zelensky of the Ukraine to a joint session of congress. After he addressed congress, and after a stirring video, President Zelensky had words for President Biden. He said that courage and convictions were good, but now was the time for action. Hey, that could apply to us. It is great to have courage and it is great to have convictions, but neither matter without action. James reminds us in James 1:22, “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.” If we read the Bible and say we believe what the Bible says, that’s not good enough. We must DO what the Bible tells us to do. Hey, don’t just talk; just do it!
