Just before you get to the “B” entrance to Memorial hospital is a short street named “Healthy Street”. I’m sure that the hospital had something to do with naming the street. It is only a short connector street and is not even 50 feet long from beginning to end. But Healthy Street makes me chuckle. Why is the Healthy Street to the hospital so short? It’s because that all of the unhealthy streets are much longer. It’s much easier to live an unhealthy lifestyle than it is to live a healthy lifestyle. That’s like the broad road to destruction and the narrow road to heaven mentioned in Matthew 7:13&14, “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” The easy way is not usually the best way, but the hard way, the way of self-sacrifice, is usually the best way. Hey, choose wisely today. Choose God’s way.
