Romans 16:24 The
grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. The last three verses
are Paul’s second benediction. You will remember that the benediction is the
closing prayer and blessing that the preacher says just before he dismisses the
church congregation. But this verse is just before the benediction. These words
are his closing words to chapter 16. Paul finishes up with the best words that
he could possibly say to the church in Rome. The Apostle Paul prays that the
grace of Jesus Christ would be with the Christians in Rome. God’s grace is
wonderful. God’s grace is undeserved. God’s grace is limitless. And God’s grace
is forevermore! And, in sending His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins, God’s
grace is freely brought to us in His wonderful salvation through His dear Son!
What a wonderful reminder is this last verse of Romans!
