We left the retinaologist Thursday after my poor wife got a shot in each eye to keep her retinas intact. Another nasty side-effect of diabetes. The doctor told her that she needed artificial tears to keep her eyes lubricated. So, we went by the pharmacy to purchase eye drops. The pharmacist explained the pros and cons of each type, and after considerable deliberation, a selection was made. The non-preservative single-use tears were purchased. Hey, it’s a big deal to put something into your eyes! The medicine should be good. I was reminded of the great multitude of white-robed worshipers who gathered around the Throne of God and praised the Lamb which was slain. An elder who stood nearby asked John, “Who are these who so fervently worship Jesus Christ?” John was puzzled and couldn’t answer. Then the elder replied, “These are they who have been washed in the Blood of the Lamb!” Revelation 7:17, “For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.” Hey, Precious Ones, who have sorrow in this world: someday, God will wipe away tears from your eyes! Yes, He will! He will love you eternally and remove your pain and suffering forever! What a day that will be!
