Enoch

There are only two men in the Bible who never died: Elijah and Enoch.  Enoch is barely mentioned, appearing in only eleven verses in the Bible.  But Enoch must have been a wonderful example of a follower of God.  Enoch was taken directly up to heaven the be with his Lord.  Nothing is recorded of anything that Enoch said.  Moses recorded in Genesis 5:24, “And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.”  The Bible only says that Enoch “walked with God”.  Interesting.  Many folk falsely think that they will be remembered for what they said.  Not so.  You will be remembered for what you did, not what you said.  Hey, do your deeds back up what you say?  Or are you all talk?  Try this today: Don’t make promises; just do what you say you are going to do.  Don’t tell someone that you love them; show them that you love them.  Be a doer; not just a sayer.
