I was at her birthday party Tuesday, and nine-year-old Lilly said a profound quote: “It’s not really lost until mamma can’t find it.” Such confidence in her mother. A statement of faith and a statement of dependence. Hey, I’m glad that the dear Lord knows where I am. I am never lost to Him. God knows everything and someday, everything will come to light. Luke 12:2, “For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.” Confidence in God and yet haunting for us. Will you be glad on that day or will you be embarrassed? Work a little more for the dear Lord today. Love Him a little more and let Him work through you today. You’ll be glad that you did.
