I Peter 3:15 But
sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to
every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and
fear: We are reminded in our verse to know our Bible and to have a ready
answer. Many people have questions about life, but don’t have the answers.
Where did we come from? Why are we here on earth? Where are we going when we
die? People can’t figure out the answers to those questions because only the
Bible has such answers. And because we are God’s children, we know the answers.
But we have to be prepared with the verses from the Bible in order to show
people the truth. But knowing the answers isn’t enough. Our verse also speaks
about hope. As Christians, we have more than just intelligent answers, we have
hope. We have hope for today and hope for the future. And hope is want everyone
needs. But Christians shouldn’t be know-it-all’s with our answers. After all,
it isn’t about us; it’s about Jesus Christ. He is our Hope!
