Micah 6:8 He hath
shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but
to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God? We all
have jobs to do. The younger you are, the less responsibility you have. But
even Greyson, who is four, has jobs to do. He has to pick up his toys. He was
over at our house today and had little cars all over the floor. You would have
thought that his mother was expecting the impossible when she made him pick up
the cars. He grumbled and whined and finally picked them all up. But he is only
four. Often, we whine to God. We don’t do what is expected of us. But God knows
that we are only human. He knows just how much that we can bear. So what does
God expect? He expects us to do right, to be kind, and to humbly serve our
Maker. Is that too much to ask? I don’t think so. God has done so much for us
that the very least that we should do is to serve Him right back. So, let’s
just do it!
