Zephaniah 3:17 The
LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over
thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.
This verse is so encouraging! Usually we think of rejoicing in what God has done
for us. But our verse for today says that the Lord is happy about us! How
wonderful it is to bring happiness to the God of the universe! There isn’t
anything that God can’t do for Himself. After all, He made everything! But only
us humans can give Him joy with our love! God enjoys our love! God will rejoice
with singing over us! How wonderful!
