Jude 22

Jude 22 And of some have compassion, making a difference. Compassion means that you care. And that is so important. Are you really interested in others or are you only interested in yourself? Are you kind to people for what you can get out of them, or are you simply kind to people? being kind to people makes a difference. It makes a difference in how we treat them and it makes a difference in how they react to us. If someone feels that they are being used, they react that way. But if someone feels that you genuinely like them and have their best interest at heart, they will react differently. If we show them love, their hard heart will melt. We want to make a difference in the lives of others, and we do that by having compassion. Let’s make a difference. Let’s have compassion.

Jude 18

Jude 18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. This is the third time that we have been told that in the Last Days, there should be mockers. We find it in II Peter 3 and II Timothy 3. These warnings have come from three different sources in three different books. So the idea of mockers in the last days is pretty sure. But these mockers will be doing something else besides mocking Christian truth and the name of Jesus. They will be preaching their own message. They will try to convince people that they are speaking the truth. But they are not! But how do we know if they are speaking the truth or not? Well do you remember the Jesus Test in verse 4? If they are preaching Jesus, they are true; if they are not preaching Jesus, they are false teachers and liars. It’s as simple as that. Jesus, Yes. Not Jesus, No!

Jude 6

Jude 6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. At the beginning of time, Lucifer, the Bright and Morning Star, rebelled against God and took 1/3 of the angels with him in his rebellion. If these fallen angels were at least respectful to God, He let them hang around earth to help Satan, the Prince of the Power of the Air. If these demons would not respect God’s boundaries, God cast them into the Lake of Fire where they were and are chained in fire and outer darkness. But this is only God’s jail. These disrespectful demons will one day be hauled up for final judgement, and will be condemned to God’s final prison where there is no chance of pardon or parole. Their judgement will be swift and fair and final. So, do you want to end up like them? Or do you want to repent and accept God’s free gift of salvation? I’ve trusted in Jesus Christ for salvation; have you?
