Deuteronomy 30:19 I
call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before
you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou
and thy seed may live. God has done everything in His power to make sure
that we can go to heaven when we die. He sent His only Son, Jesus, to die as
our sacrifice on Calvary. The only thing left to do is to accept God’s free
gift of salvation. But, we must do it. God will not force us to be saved. It is
our free will choice. Our verse for today reminds us that God has set the
choice before us, just as he set the choice before His people, the Children of
Israel. On the one side is blessing and life, and on the other side is a curse
and death. That choice is a no brainer! What a clear choice! What a wonderful
opportunity! Let’s chose God! Let’s chose life!
