John 17:17 Sanctify
them through thy truth: thy word is truth. Today we have a big word: sanctification. Sanctification is
actually pretty simple. Sanctification means to become more and more like Jesus
Christ. In our verse for today, how are we sanctified? So how do we become more
and more like Jesus Christ? By truth. And how do we learn what is truth? Our
verse says that we learn truth from God’s Word, the Bible. So the more we read
the Bible, the more we learn about Jesus. We learn what Jesus likes and what He
dislikes. And the more we learn about
Jesus, the more we can be like Jesus.
and that is sanctification.
