John 20:30,31 And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name. There were many things that Jesus did while he was here on earth for about 33 years, and not all of them were recorded. There just wouldn't be enough room to record them all. But John recorded these here in his book for a special reason. What did he say that reason was? John wrote these stories so that we might believe on Jesus Christ, and so that believing, we might be saved and have eternal life. These Bible stories aren't just interesting stories. These are true stories told with a purpose: so that we might believe in Jesus Christ. Have you believed in Jesus? If you have, you will spend eternity with Him in heaven. What a wonderful thought!
