John 19:12,13,16

John 19:12,13,16 And from thenceforth Pilate sought to release him: but the Jews cried out, saying, If thou let this man go, thou art not Caesar's friend: whosoever maketh himself a king speaketh against Caesar. When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he brought Jesus forth, and sat down in the judgment seat in a place that is called the Pavement, but in the Hebrew, Gabbatha. Then delivered he him therefore unto them to be crucified. And they took Jesus, and led him away. Pilate just knew that Jesus was an innocent man. He wanted to let Jesus go free. But he was afraid of the Jewish religious leaders. Have you ever been talked into doing something that you knew wasn’t right? You just knew that it wasn’t the right thing to do, but you were afraid of the other person. May be you haven’t yet, but just remember - someday you will. Someday someone will try to make you feel afraid or ashamed if you don’t do things their way. Just remember Pilate. He sent an innocent man to be executed. Actually, he sent the very Lord of Glory to be executed! We remember wicked men like Judas and Pilate because they did not do the right thing. You should decide right now that when the time comes, you will do the right thing. Don’t let someone talk you into doing the wrong thing. You will be sorry and remember your weak decision for a long, long time. Do right!
