II Chronicles 6:13,14

II Chronicles 6:13,14 For Solomon had made a brasen scaffold, of five cubits long, and five cubits broad, and three cubits high, and had set it in the midst of the court: and upon it he stood, and kneeled down upon his knees before all the congregation of Israel, and spread forth his hands toward heaven, And said, O LORD God of Israel, there is no God like thee in the heaven, nor in the earth; which keepest covenant, and shewest mercy unto thy servants, that walk before thee with all their hearts: When Solomon dedicated the Temple that he had built to the God of heaven, he prayed before the people and before the Lord. And the king of Israel knelt down before everyone showing his humility before God. What a great example for everyone and a great example for us. We should kneel before the Lord and every one of our friends should know that we love God and respect Him.  We should never be too big to humbly pray before God. Of course, we can pray to the Lord sitting or standing or just pray in our hearts, but we should never be too proud to kneel before the Lord and pray. God is awesome and kneeling seems just right before the Almighty Creator.
