II Thessalonians
2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should
believe a lie: Hey! This doesn’t seem fair that God should send a strong
delusion, and then punish everyone for being deluded. But that’s not what this
verse is actually saying. Remember when God sent the ten plagues upon Pharaoh
and the Egyptians? Pharaoh endured ten plagues because he was stubborn. Pharaoh
kept on rejecting God and God kept giving him exactly what he was asking for.
When God hardened Pharaoh’s heart, God was just giving Pharaoh what he already
wanted. So in the end times, when people want to reject God, God will let
them reject Him, and God will send them a strong delusion: He will give them
what they want. God will let them be deceived by Satan and the Anti-Christ.
But, praise the Lord, we Christians won’t be here! We will already be safely in
heaven with our Savior, Jesus Christ!
