II Thessalonians 3:6

II Thessalonians 3:6 Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us. Paul gives the church of Thessalonica some good advice as to how to handle disorderly Christians. We should not hang around them. We should not treat them as pagans or outcasts, but neither should we have fellowship with them either. But what exactly does it mean to walk disorderly? It means that they are not obeying Jesus Christ and are not behaving as they should. They are not good examples of followers of Christ. We should let them know that we are disappointed in them and then not have fellowship with them. Hopefully, they will be ashamed and change their ways. And all the time we should be careful to behave properly ourselves. God has called us to unity and to Christian holiness. Obey God and follow after Him.
