Daniel 12:2 And
many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to
everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. When we die,
we will live again. That is called the resurrection. But there are two types of
resurrections. Some people are raised alive again to life everlasting, but some
are raised to stand before Jesus Christ, the righteous Judge. They have not
trusted in Jesus as their Savior. God the Father gave His dear Son Jesus to die
for them, but they did not accept God’s gift of salvation. They will stand
before Jesus at the Great White Throne Judgement of Revelation 20. And that
will be a fearful time for them. But for those of us who have accepted God’s
salvation, the resurrection will be wonderful! Our souls and bodies will be
reunited and we will stand before our dear Savior with brand new glorified
bodies. We will live and serve our Lord for ever and ever! What a wonderful day
that will be!
