I heard a Christian writer speaking on the radio last night mention that we
need to remember who we are and Whose we are.
That was powerful. Often, we are
bullied as Christians and become timid.
But we need to be reminded that we are a child of the King! And as a child of the King, each day we
should represent our King. We are not
citizens of this world; we are citizens of heaven. And as ambassadors from our King, we should
stand tall as we represent Him to people of this world. We should not be intimidated; we should be a
faithful witness for our King. Jesus,
God’s Son, was sent to this world, and like Jesus, we should be God’s emissary
to this world. Paul said in II Corinthians
5:20, “Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by
us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.” Let’s not be too drawn into this world and
it’s materialistic system; let’s be faithful ambassadors. We have a high calling! Don’t forget who you are and Whose you are.
