Sunday evening, we had a fellowship after church. Kathy fixed brownies, egg salad sandwiches,
and a cheese plate. The problem was, I
only had two hands to carry three plates out to the car. So, I picked up the brownies and the egg
salad sandwiches, looked at the table, and realized, “the cheese stands alone”.

Pre-owned Voucher
We just got a flyer from the local car dealership offering me
a “pre-owned voucher.” I think what they
meant to say a voucher for a pre-owned car.
Actually, I think I’ll just put the voucher back in the mailbox and return
it. No, wait. Maybe that’s how I got my “pre-owned voucher.” Someone just sent it back and they re-gifted
it to me. Hmmmm …

Shoe Horn
My two little grandsons discovered my long-handled shoehorn
and think it’s great. They like to slip
their shoes off without untying them.
Typical kid stuff. But with the
shoehorn, they can put them on without untying them. So now, they both think that old-man stuff is
cool. I wonder how long that will last?
