Proverbs 31:30

Proverbs 31:30 Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised. The Bible is clear: the most important part of a person is what you are on the inside. I have known many people who were not nice on the inside. They may look handsome or beautiful on the outside, but other people can't stand to be around them. They might be lazy and make their friends and family members do all of their work. They might be unkind to others. They might be sneaky and talk about others behind their backs. They just aren't nice to be around. But, a woman who fears the Lord, now she is to be praised! If you put God first in your life, you will be the right kind of a person on the inside. Others will see your life on the outside and know that God is on the inside. Like the faithful woman in our verse, you will be praised.
