Mark 2:27

Mark 2:27 And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath: Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath. When Jesus and His disciples were going through a corn field, the disciples casually reached out and plucked ears of corn and ate them. But the picky Pharisees who saw them accused them of harvesting corn on the Sabbath day. That was crazy! They weren’t working; they were just eating! The Pharisees were just trying to find fault. But Jesus confronted them. Jesus reminded them that He wasn’t restricted by the law; He was the One Who had made the law! Jesus Himself is the Law! Jesus is the King of the Universe, and whatever He does is right! Silly Pharisees.
