Mark 4:21,23

Mark 4:21,23 And he said unto them, Is a candle brought to be put under a bushel, or under a bed? and not to be set on a candlestick? If any man have ears to hear, let him hear. Jesus was telling a parable reminding us Christians that we should tell others about Jesus and salvation. What is the purpose of a lit candle? Well, of course! To give light! And what is the purpose of a Christian? To glorify God and to tell others about God’s Son and the way of salvation. That is our job and that is our whole reason to exist: glorify God and tell others. And I like what Jesus said right at the end of our verses: Listen! Hey, if you have ears . . . use them! Listen to what Jesus is saying! Good advice.
