Mark 3:4,5

Mark 3:4,5 And he saith unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace. And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other. Once again the Pharisees were being picky. But Jesus was ticked! They had gone too far with their petty rules and Jesus called them out on it! You see, the Pharisees would rather have this poor crippled man remain crippled so that Jesus would not break their crummy little law. But Jesus wasn’t intimidated by the Pharisees. He put everything right out there in their face. He gave them a choice: should Jesus keep their little rule, or should Jesus heal a hand and make a man whole again? So what was their answer? That’s right, they refused to answer. They shut up. They refused to give Jesus the right answer, which they knew was right! So Jesus went on and healed the man. The crippled man was happy. Jesus was happy. But the Pharisees were mad. Jesus had won and they had lost. Too bad, Pharisees!
