Sixty-three years ago today, at a revival meeting at Maple
View Baptist Church, I felt my need of salvation. I went to an old-fashioned altar and the
preacher, Rev Gwyn Blackburn, took the Bible and showed me how to have my sins
forgiven and helped me make my peace with my Maker. I trusted Jesus Christ as my Savior, and what
an incredible journey it has been! I have
failed the dear Lord many times, but He has never failed me! I am safe in the Good Shepherd’s arms.
