Isaiah 26:3

Isaiah 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. This wonderful verse tells us the key to having a peaceful life: trust in God and keep your mind focused on Him. If we think about God, He will give us His peace. What a wonderful way to live!

Isaiah 14:12-15

Isaiah 14:12-15 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. Lucifer was God’s special assistant angel, but he was lifted up with pride. Did you notice how many times Lucifer used the word “I” in our verses? He thought that he could do God’s job better than God Himself could. Silly angel. God booted Lucifer out of heaven and his rebellious followers with him. God will not stand for rebellion – from Satan or from us. God is holy and pure and righteous. And Satan is everything that God is not. I am glad to follow God, aren’t you?!

Isaiah 9:6

Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. This is one of the wonderful verses of prophecy about the coming Messiah. Jesus Christ was born in a lowly stable to common ordinary parents. But there was nothing ordinary about baby Jesus. He grew up to be a wonderful man Who was the Redeemer of all mankind. I am glad Jesus was born and I am glad for this verse telling about His birth some 700 years before it happened. You can trust the Bible. It is true!
